Restaurant Assistant Manager

This position assists the Restaurant Manager (RM) with daily operations of the restaurant and supervises the team in their absence. The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) leads and coaches Restaurant Team Members and partners with the management team to maintain the Company and Brand operational standards ensuring all guests leave satisfied.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner; coaching and correcting team
• Conducting second interviews for team members and shift leads
• Maintaining a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties. Assigning shift duties to team members and following up to ensure completion
• Directing team and ensuring all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all Brand, Company, and health department regulations. Coaching team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
• Cascadng relevant information to team members and assisting with new product training
• Responsible for placing campaign materials upon request
• Ensuring product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
• Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift. Completing end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required. Communicating any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
• In absence of the RM, the RAM completes daily, weekly and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties as required
• Guaranteeing a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
• Completing reports on all incidents following our 5-minute rule policy
• Partnering with the RM and taking ownership to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant

Qualifications include:

• Full time required; availability during all hours of operation and at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing required
• Valid state Driver's License required
