Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Owings Mills, MD. The work schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with Saturdays as assigned. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Travel to additional sites as needed, reliable transportation. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Pay Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour.
