About the position: Our Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our accounting needs during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to our Director of Accounting, this person will split their time across two critical functions: General Accounting and our Financial Operations (FinOps) team, which manages our provider incentive payment program. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role with real ownership you'll help keep our books clean while also playing a key part in one of our most operationally complex and impactful workflows. How you'll make an impact: General Accounting (50%) Own key month‑end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and cash reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain internal controls around disbursements, approval workflows, and documentation. Support annual audits by preparing reconciliations and responding to auditor requests. Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes as the business scales. Financial Operations – Provider Incentive Payments (50%) Support the full‑cycle monthly provider incentive payment process, from calculation through disbursement. Prepare monthly reporting packages and reconciliations for customers and medical groups. Serve as a go‑to resource for internal stakeholders, answering questions and providing guidance on payment‑related inquiries. Help build and maintain payment documentation including schedules, supporting calculations, and audit trails. Drive automation and standardization across the payment workflow to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
