Social And Human Services Tenure Track Faculty Salary: $88,536.91 – $89,988.74 Location: Lynnwood, Washington First Consideration: April 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM PST Edmonds College is seeking a Social and Human Services Tenure Track Faculty member. As a Social and Human Services Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching and providing leadership in various Social and Human Services and Addiction Studies courses. In this role, you will be responsible for developing curriculum, classroom and lab procedures, preparing teaching materials, developing and assessing learning outcomes to evaluate student work, assigning grades, following disciplinary procedures, maintaining required records, and academic advising, all from a student-focused perspective. Other responsibilities include: participating in achieving the college's mission and goals; upholding the college's values; college governance via department and division work; committee assignments; required professional development and college in-service activities (including employee orientation and college compliance training); participation in professional development activities that expand content knowledge of the field to increase instructional effectiveness; personal and program evaluation; accreditation and advisory committee work; and department head or related duties. The teaching assignment may include day, early-morning, late-afternoon, evening, weekend, or online classes, including live streaming. This is a tenure-track position reporting to the Dean of the School of Healthcare and Human Services and has an anticipated start date in September 2026; and will have a 9-month service period. Active credential in good standing as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) or Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). A minimum of two years post-credential work in the addictions field.
