About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Campus Services to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its auxiliary and support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, cost-effective operations that serve the campus community. This includes directing the daily operations of outsourced dining services and campus bookstore contracts, overseeing vendor compliance with contractual obligations and service standards, and managing internal warehouse, post office, and print shop operations. The role also involves serving as the primary point of contact between the company and its contracted service providers, building effective relationships with stakeholders, and being accountable for the overall customer experience across all campus services functions. Candidates for the Vice President of Campus Services position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and significant experience in auxiliary services, facilities/operations management, or contract/vendor management. The role requires strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills, excellent financial acumen, and superior communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution abilities. The VP will be expected to lead through influence, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards. Responsibilities also include management of a team, budget development, and continuous improvement of campus services policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring customer satisfaction and be adept at analyzing data to drive service improvements.
