About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Actuarial Services to provide strategic leadership and technical oversight of the organization's actuarial function. This executive-level role is pivotal in influencing business strategy, profitability, risk management, and long-term growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the actuarial team in areas such as pricing, reserving, predictive analytics, catastrophe modeling, and reinsurance, and will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on a range of critical business decisions. The VP will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and actuarial standards of practice, as well as driving innovation through advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making. Applicants for the VP of Actuarial Services position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an FCAS designation strongly preferred. Extensive experience in Property & Casualty actuarial roles, particularly in pricing, reserving, catastrophe risk, reinsurance, and predictive analytics, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in developing and mentoring actuarial talent, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in homeowners or personal lines insurance markets, a background in supporting catastrophe-exposed portfolios and reinsurance strategies, and familiarity with advanced analytics and emerging actuarial technologies.
