Job Summary Regional Vice President responsible for all facets of their assigned region, including coaching, developing, and leading Branch Vice Presidents to achieve growth goals and deliver an exceptional member experience. The role focuses on growing consumer and business memberships, deposits, loans, investment balances, and insurance and protection products in alignment with the credit union’s strategic plan. This position will support one of the following regions: Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; or metro Atlanta, GA. Essential Job Functions Proactively looks for continuous improvement and communicates opportunities to executive team and support departments to enhance employee and member experience. Develops and implements tactical plans for the region aligned with VyStar’s goals and annual business plan. Coaches Branch Vice Presidents and leads by example, fostering strong member relationships. Drives membership growth, business activities, and financial results in a region of approximately 10 branches. Promotes a “Culture of Yes” to find solutions for all member needs. Develops Branch Vice Presidents and associates for succession planning and career growth opportunities. Hold Branch Vice Presidents accountable for timely ownership of employee issues. Ensures business partners succeed through referrals, including mortgage, business services, insurance, and investment services. Engages proactively with feedback and fosters a culture of idea sharing. Operates region efficiently in line with corporate policies and procedures, responding timely with well‑researched details. Oversees branch audits through the Self‑Monitoring Program to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. Conducts outside business calls and VyStar at Work presentations to accelerate membership growth and profitability. May hold leadership positions with local civic, non‑profit, charitable, and service organizations to support the VyStar brand. Takes direction, applies to business situations, and owns assigned tasks to completion. Analyzes numbers, plans, acknowledges areas of improvement, and executes to meet objectives. Experience in multi‑unit leadership or management; preferred in a financial institution. Education & Experience A four‑year college degree preferred; comparable experience in a financial institution may substitute. Eight or more years managing people and processes in a financial institution required; previous branch management experience preferred.
