Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential required
• Experience working with students in SDC (Special Day Class) settings
• Knowledge and understanding of mild to moderate learning differences
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver instruction tailored to meet students’ unique needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports
• Work closely with families, counselors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster an encouraging and structured environment for social and academic growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
