Catering Assistant

Responsibilities Customer Service – demonstrate characteristics of excellence in customer service, follow CARES standards at all times, respond to requests quickly and effectively, understand customer needs and expectations and meet them. Communication – effectively convey relevant information, keep key leadership and schedulers informed of new requests and changes, post required schedules to ensure customers have information. Problem Solving – assist guests whenever possible, act as the first line of problem resolution, refer all requests beyond the scope of responsibility to management. Room Setup – read and interpret function set‑up sheets and set up rooms accordingly, set up banquet equipment, ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all banquet equipment. Organization – keep work environment and equipment well organized and in good condition, report broken equipment or lights to management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. No directly related experience required. Primary location: Burnet Campus. Schedule: Part time, shift rotating. Employee status: Stand‑by. Paid status: FTE 0; weekly hours: 0. Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status: $16.50 – $19.80.
