This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials to our customers, while maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service. Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm with opportunity for overtime.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift heavy packages, operate forklifts, and use hand-held scanners. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will interact with customers, suppliers, and team members on a daily basis. Apply now to join our dedicated Santa Ana team!Responsibilities:Successfully delivers plumbing products to customers’ home and/or other specified locationsDocuments all pertinent information with regard to daily delivery paperwork for accurate record keepingListens to and resolves delivery concerns in the field and escalates issues if beyond their skill setSafely loads and unloads trucksObtains customer signature on packing slips for the receipt of goods with regard to pick-ups and deliveriesCommunicates status of each stop to scheduling and routing advisor along with accounting for accurate billing processCleans and maintains the interior of the vehiclePerforms routine inspections on vehicles using vehicle inspection form and reports any immediate safety concern to managementAssists in training of new Delivery DriversReceives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.Pulls orders from inventory, manually and/or utilizing forklift.Prepares materials for delivery to and/or pick up by customers. Packs materials in boxes or on pallets (as appropriate), and labels accordingly.Checks filled orders prior to delivery or pick up to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order.Fills out a bill of lading for materials being delivered to customer.Makes notation on invoice for materials pulled for customer pick up and places in file until customer signs it for their materials.Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup.Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer, as appropriate.Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.Qualifications:Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.Proficient in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers up to four digits.Capable of organizing items systematically by size, alphabetical order, or numerical sequence, and grouping similar items accurately.Thorough understanding of traffic regulations, with a commitment to adhering to speed limits and safe driving practices while operating a company vehicle.Familiarity with protocols for handling accidents in the warehouse or while operating a company vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety and reporting procedures.Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to prioritize tasks effectively.Basic proficiency in operating standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, fax machines) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.Ability to acquire and apply fundamental computer skills, including email communication and inventory management software.Fluent in English, with effective reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.Physically capable of consistently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.Eligible to obtain certification for safe operation of forklifts and man lifts, adhering to industry standards (must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment).Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required competencies.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior experience in warehouse operations, plumbing, or forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience.Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record, free of violations or accidents.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
