Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Attorney with over six years of experience to join their debt finance section in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing lenders and borrowers in complex debt financing transactions.
Duties
- Negotiate and draft credit agreements, commitment letters, and security documents.
- Prepare issues lists, term sheets, intercreditor agreements, and legal opinions.
- Lead due diligence teams and coordinate with specialists.
- Manage matters with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Significant experience in complex debt financing transactions.
- Excellent academic performance and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) required.
Certifications
Admitted to practice law in the United States.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Proven leadership in due diligence processes.
- Effective coordination with legal specialists.
