Senior Field Service RepresentativeEaton's Engineering Service & Systems Division is currently seeking a Senior Field Service Representative in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. Eaton Field Service Representatives perform installs, tests, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical switchgear systems at customer sites such as factories, data centers, power plants, utilities, hospitals, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.This is a traveling role with expected travel up to 25%.This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton's Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver's license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.Field Service roles offer company car and guaranteed 40-hour paid week.The expected annual salary range for this role is $84000 - $123000 a year. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationMust have a valid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:Associate degree or higher from an accredited institutionBachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionElectrical or General Contractor's LicenseProfessional Engineering LicenseExperience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysis as well as protective relaysNIET/NETA certificationSkills:Position Success Criteria:Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafterSubmit to periodic customer required background and drug screeningsMust have the ability to work variable hours, including nights & weekends, and travel within the district/state/region/country based on customer requirementsThis position requires you to drive an Eaton vehicleMust be able and willing to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) non-CDL qualification and comply with all DOT regulatory requirements, if requiredUnderstands 3-phase power systems and low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipmentPerforms physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel.
