Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead structural steel construction projects from award through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing project execution, budgets, schedules, change orders, client relationships, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

-Manage structural steel projects from kickoff through completion.

-Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource planning.

-Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, detailers, and field teams.

-Review construction drawings and project plans to ensure accuracy and execution.

-Manage contractual obligations and project documentation.

-Review and approve change orders while maintaining project profitability.

-Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

-Prepare status reports and provide updates to leadership and clients.

-Travel to project sites as needed to support project execution.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of Project Manager/Construction Manager experience within the structural steel industry OR experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Assistant PM with related detailing/drafting experience.

-Experience managing multiple commercial or industrial construction projects simultaneously.

-Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes. -Bachelor's degree in Construction --Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Business.

-Experience mentoring Project Managers, Coordinators, or Administrators.

-Knowledge of Tekla and 3D modeling practices.

-Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
