Director Of Marketing And Business Development

Robert Half is partnering with a professional services organization is seeking a Director of Marketing & Business Development to lead its firmwide marketing and business development strategy. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a strategic, relationship-driven marketing leader who enjoys partnering directly with senior professionals and executives to support growth.

The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and professional stakeholders, while overseeing a small marketing team and the organization's broader marketing and business development function.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's firmwide marketing and business development strategy, aligning initiatives with broader growth objectives
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and professional stakeholders, building strong relationships across departments and practice areas
• Partner directly with professionals on business development planning, relationship development, cross-selling, networking and identifying new opportunities
• Coach and support senior professionals in strengthening their individual market presence, client relationships and business development efforts
• Develop and manage marketing budgets, external vendors, agencies and key strategic partnerships
• Oversee the organization's external brand and market presence, including website, social media, public relations, advertising, thought leadership, rankings and awards
• Lead strategy around client events, networking opportunities, conferences, sponsorships and other relationship-building initiatives
• Oversee professional profiles, presentations, collateral, proposals and other materials that support business development efforts
• Partner with leadership on practice-area positioning, market visibility and growth initiatives
• Manage and mentor a small marketing team while establishing priorities, processes and accountability
• Monitor marketing and business development activity, providing leadership with insights and recommendations around effectiveness and ROI
• Ensure consistent messaging, branding and communications across the organization

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, business development and/or communications, ideally within professional services
• Experience working directly with senior executives, partners, attorneys or other high-level professionals
• Demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategy into measurable business development and growth opportunities
• Strong understanding of professional services marketing and the dynamics of selling expertise, relationships and reputation
• Experience coaching or advising senior professionals on business development, networking, client development or personal branding
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, agencies and/or internal marketing resources
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized, polished and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. This position includes Benefits available to full-time professionals, include medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k), etc..
