Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Director (Facilities) to join our team at Avir at Corpus Christi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our healthcare facility, including all mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance and repair projects to ensure the facility remains safe and functional

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources

• Coordinate and collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and patient care, to ensure a smooth operation

• Supervise and train maintenance staff, including electricians, plumbers, and carpenters

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA and HIPAA

• Identify and report potential safety hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks

• Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track maintenance activities and budget

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
