Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, MA requiring a valid Massachusetts license.

Details

• Inpatient occupational therapy setting
• Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Rehabilitation equipment utilized includes splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and modalities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current inpatient OT experience required
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy required
• Active Massachusetts OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Active BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have personal vehicle for this position
• Skills Checklist (Occupational Health, current within 1 year) required for consideration
• 1 supervisory-signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including evaluation, treatment, and use of adaptive equipment and modalities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in developing and implementing comprehensive patient care plans
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days must be submitted at the time of application — requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved
• Orientation is non-billable (8 hours)
• Holidays are required if needed
