Assistant Manager - Project Accounting

Manage and coordinate project accounting activities within the business unit Maintain responsibility for project-level accounting tasks Lead, manage, and develop project accounting individuals Process and review project-related owner invoices, project costs, and owner and trade payments Review budgets, costs, commitments, and billings for financial accuracy Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, financial controls, and applicable accounting standards Drive process improvement initiatives and support implementation of changes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred 5–7 years of experience in project accounting, financial management, or a related field preferred 1–2 years of experience coordinating work or leading project accounting activities preferred Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (CCIFP) certification preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in project accounting, financial management, and compliance with accounting standards. Proven ability to lead teams, manage project-level accounting tasks, and drive process improvements.
