A one-year contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy in La Crosse, WI. This role requires expertise in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings, offering varied daily responsibilities in a well-established pharmacy environment.

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive retail and long-term care pharmacy duties
• Counsel patients on medication use and therapy management
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical supplies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license (candidates eligible under Act 10 will be considered)
• Immunization certification
• CPR certification
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Experience in retail and specialty pharmacy settings preferred
