Senior Real Estate Development Accountant

Key Responsibilities Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and bank reconciliations. Maintain general ledger, job cost accounting, and cost tracking. Process construction loan draws, equity draws, and CIP accounting. Support project closings, closing entries, and development schedules. Handle affordable housing and tax credit accounting (LIHTC, HTC, NMTC). Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. Utilize Yardi or similar real estate accounting software for daily operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting , Finance, or a related field CPA or MBA preferred 5+ years of Strong Experience in Real Estate Development Accounting or Real Estate Accounting Strong knowledge of the full accounting lifecycle for real estate development projects Experience with: Cost tracking & reconciliation Cash flow forecasting General Ledger & Job Cost Accounting Experience preparing and managing: Equity draws Bank reconciliations Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounting Experience with Affordable Housing or Tax Credit Accounting such as: Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) Historic Tax Credits (HTC) New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) Experience supporting: Project closings Closing entries Equity Instalment schedules Experience with Yardi or similar Real Estate ERP systems #J-18808-Ljbffr iMacroSolutions
