Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of care to improve patients’ functional independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and goal-oriented therapy. Key Highlights: Full-time, flexible schedule (4x10s or 5x8s) $44.09–$70.54/hour + $20,000 retention bonus Up to $7,500 relocation assistance + 90 days housing Open to new graduates Comprehensive benefits, PTO, and education support Job location- Fairbanks, Alaska Key Responsibilities: Evaluate patient abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Implement and adjust therapy based on patient progress Establish measurable goals and support discharge planning Educate patients, families, and care teams on treatment strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Communicate effectively with healthcare providers for coordinated care Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Participate in departmental operations and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current (or eligible) Occupational Therapist license in Alaska BLS certification required Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to use therapy equipment and patient care technology Acute care experience preferred (required for certain roles)
