Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Rehab (Contract) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:15 PM (hours may vary based on department needs) Overview We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week outpatient rehab contract assignment in Cumming, GA. This multidisciplinary outpatient department provides comprehensive rehabilitation services in collaboration with Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient experience and a background working in specialty rehab programs. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient rehabilitation setting Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (PT/OT/SLP) Support patient care across a variety of specialty programs, including: Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) Wound care Lymphedema management Vestibular rehabilitation Aquatics therapy Sports rehabilitation Parkinson’s program Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) and FEES studies Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Lymphedema certification (required) Experience in outpatient rehabilitation strongly preferred This is a fast-paced outpatient rehab environment with a strong focus on specialty care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working across a broad range of therapy programs and patient populations.
