Position: Lead Mobile Engineer Location: Remote Duration : 6 month rolling contract Position Overview: Looking for a Sr/lead Mobile Engineer to backfill a current member of the team. This person will start by running two scrum teams (2 iOS and 2 Android developers/team), but ultimately would like to have 1 lead per team. Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: This resource will only be about 20-30% hands on (coding if there is additional work like a spike or POC), and 70% leadership, feature analysis, requirements gathering, assisting with design, ownership, documentation, code reviews, handling POCs, articulating the platform, lead technical decisions for either Android or iOS (depending on your core strength), while coordinating efforts across both platforms, system architecture overviews, implementation plans for new features, remove blockers, align on priorities, and grow their technical capabilities and taking the ownership of the Mobile Deliveries MUST Haves: Leadership Experience/Senior level Both Android (Kotlin) & iOS (Swift UI) Jetpack Compose Swift UI Coding Experience (20-30%) Rest APIs NICE TO HAVES: Experience with an Offline Support System (non cloud environment, Ex: ship network) *Please note that as a contract employee of Apex Systems, benefits include the below with employee contribution* Health Dental Vision Life Insurance; Short Term Disability Hospitalization Coverage Direct Deposit Weekly Pay Periods Training and Development Programs 401k Referral Program EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
