Here, you will make an impact by:Driving EHS culture improvements through daily engagement with all operations on the site.Developing and executing a maintenance and reliability improvement plan that aligns with the manufacturing plant and business strategic objectives.Partnering to identify, define, and install new and or advance existing equipment to improve safety and productivity.Responsible for site renewal planning and execution as well as capital budget and driving capital project execution.Site leader for IFM, maintenance contacts and external services, including contractor coordination and oversight.Utilizing and coaching team to use systematic methodologies, such as root cause analysis, to identify and implement solutions to complex manufacturing problems.Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, EHS, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.Leading and continually developing self and others at multiple levels of the organization through supervision, providing recognition, policy administration, continuous coaching for improvement and participation in hiring processes.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Seven (7) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing operations experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentTwo (2) years of supervisory and/or managerial experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering disciplineDemonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teamsDemonstrated understanding of principle-based leadership and behaviorsExperience in leading strategic and organizational development, operational excellence, lean implementation, financial accountingEffective communication skillsWork location: Knoxville, IATravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
