Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Independently diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians as needed
• Instructing patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing relevant medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
• Involvement in patient follow-up care and chronic illness management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
