Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our nursing home team on a full-time basis. The Med Tech is responsible for safely administering medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies while providing quality care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medications accurately and on schedule.

• Follow physician orders, medication protocols, and facility policies.

• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse or supervisor.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide compassionate support.

• Maintain accurate medication and resident care records.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

• Follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect each resident's privacy and dignity.

• Assist with other resident-care duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current Med Tech/Medication Aide certification as required by the state.

• Previous experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work as part of a healthcare team.

• Ability to safely and respectfully care for elderly residents.
