PA - Hospitalist

Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantECU Health Physicians and ECU Health North Hospital, located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with their Hospitalist program. At least 2 years of inpatient experience are required. Job highlights include:• Employment by ECU Health Physicians• Hospital privileges at ECU Health North Hospital• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7p-5a (4) 10 hour shifts• No Call• 204-community hospital• Established hospitalist program inclusive of 11 Physicians & 1 Advanced Practice Provider• Clinical responsibilities will include admissions and consults from ED, rounding on inpatients as needed, discharges, coordination of patient and family care needs• Advanced practice providers work independently with limited daily physician supervision• Cardiac Cath Lab• Specialty support provided by Cardiology, General Surgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology Nephrology, Radiology, ID (telemedicine), Psychiatry (telemedicine)• Cath lab on site• No procedures required• Average total inpatient cases 70 patients per day• Ability to live on Lake Gaston• ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association are required• Excellent compensation and benefit package including relocationECU Health Physicians includes an academic practice model (ECU employment) and a community practice model (health system employment).
