Accounts Payable SpecialistHot JobNC The Umstead Hotel and Spa - Cary, NC 27513OverviewSalary Range $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift AM/DayDescriptionGeneral Job Description:General cashiering– maintain safe responsiblyProcess all vendor invoicesReconcile monthly vendor statementsProject invoices / tracking Capital spendReview and research month end financials with Accounting ManagerYear end 1099's and Music licensesUnclaimed Property assistance / outstanding accounts payable checksFiling and other administrative duties as requiredRespond to guest requests about invoices and payments according to five-star guidelinesPays vendors, scheduling and preparing checks and processing VcardAdditional Information for SuccessAdhere to hotel's appearance standardsThe ideal candidate will have the following qualities:Guest focused communication skillsMaintain integrity in all matters, remain confidentialStrong ability to multi-task and prioritizeTeam oriented to assist othersAbility to communicate clearly and accuratelyPositive work approach, can-do attitudeQualifications:2-year college degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.1-2 years of accounting experience.Intermediate Microsoft Office suite experience, particularly with Excel.Aptitude for math, proficiency with computersHave strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction.
