Job Location & Overview MICHELIN RACEWAY ROAD ATLANTA Recognized as one of the world’s best road courses, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is a 2.54-mile road course situated in the rolling hills 35 minutes north of Atlanta. The multi-purpose facility hosts the 10-hour Petit Le Mans race that closes out the IMSA schedule and is the final of the four endurance races contested by the series. The track prides itself on a family-friendly atmosphere, with a “Kids 12 & Under Are Always Free” policy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Observe, monitor and assess track surface conditions. Provide consistent information to drivers using racing flags and signals. Observe competitors for driving behavior and their cars mechanical condition. Help drivers and others in an incident. Communicate information to radio tower, stewards, and emergency medical responders. Other duties may be assigned. 0% travel No supervisory responsibilities. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Qualifications Must be willing to work weekdays and weekends, and some evenings. Ability to work in all types of weather. This position is a safety sensitive position and participates in the Substance Abuse Program (SAP).
