Radiation Therapist, Radiation Therapy Tech, travel assignment in Marysville, California, starting 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,251-$2,325 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 3x12-day shift in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Administer the prescribed course of ionizing radiation per physician orders, verify patient identity and chart
- Explain procedures to patients, communicate during treatment, and ensure alignment with safety protocols
- Deliver prescribed daily doses while observing radiation safety measures for patients and staff
- Prepare treatment room and equipment, set up immobilization devices as needed, transfer patient to treatment couch
- Monitor patients for unusual reactions or complications during treatment and report findings to supervisor and department physician
- Maintain treatment records, review patient charts, and ensure accurate documentation of treatments and related reports
- Provide clinical supervision and evaluate students’ practical ability to perform procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: CA Radiologic Technologist license (CA RTT) and ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T); Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT) required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in radiological technology or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Additional: Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting; may include experience with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA systems
