Job Opportunity: Technical Specialist Location: Raleigh, NC (Local to NC required) Job Type: Contract We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to provide leadership, technical guidance, and support for enterprise applications. You will collaborate with business users, development teams, and stakeholders to design, develop, implement, maintain, and support enterprise solutions while ensuring operational stability and user adoption. Key Responsibilities Technical Guidance: Provide leadership for enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and business systems. Development & Support: Perform application development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support. System Analysis: Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable and efficient solutions, including data analysis and software conversions. Training & Documentation: Develop technical documentation, user guides, and deliver HCM system training to end-users. IT Operations: Assist with software upgrades, system migrations, incident management, and help desk coordination. Core Skills & Qualifications (What You Need) To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong mix of the following technical and support capabilities: Application & System Support: Strong experience in technical support, application development, cloud technologies, and system administration. HCM Systems: Proven experience working with HCM systems, enterprise applications, and IT support operations. SDLC & Testing: Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies, application testing, and implementation processes. Training & Documentation: Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation and delivering user training programs. Problem Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical skills to support production environments, resolve operational issues, and manage stakeholder relationships. Bonus Points (Preferred Skills) Experience with cloud-based enterprise environments and modernization initiatives. Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and production support processes. Familiarity with HCM training delivery. Public Sector experience is highly preferred.
