Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, determining their needs and level of impairments using a range of assessment tools and measures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, incorporating targeted therapies and exercises tailored to facilitate recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions with meticulous detail in our electronic medical record system, ensuring accuracy for billing purposes.
• Execute patient education programs that empower individuals to manage their conditions and emphasize self-care practices.
• Collaborate with physical therapy aides and interns, providing supervision and guidance to facilitate their professional development.
• Perform screenings for specialized issues such as lymphedema or fall risks, developing appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Restore mobility, manage pain, and prevent further disability through a variety of therapeutic modalities, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention.

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements to hold a Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrate proficiency in trigger point therapy and possess a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Experience
