Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze each patient's individual needs and rehabilitation goals, developing customized treatment plans accordingly.
• Frequently manage a patient caseload, treating one patient per hour to ensure dedicated attention and quality care.
• Employ various intervention techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to optimize patient outcomes.
• Track and evaluate each patient's progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically using WebPT for efficient data management.
• Educate patients on preventative care strategies to help them maintain their progress and avoid future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance therapy outcomes, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Encourage a lifestyle focused on health, promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored fitness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an orthopedic outpatient physical therapist, you will primarily treat patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. Your patients will include individuals of various ages, from young athletes to seniors, all requiring personalized rehabilitation plans that address their unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Clear record with no board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficient in advanced manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to individual patients.
• Skillful in utilizing EMR systems such as WebPT for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, allowing you to bring best practices and insights into patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
