Impact Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Palm Bay, Florida. In this full-time position, you will play a critical role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on restoring motion and enhancing overall functional capability. Work Environment

You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, designed to facilitate optimal patient therapy sessions. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for evening and weekend flexibility when necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient goals, needs, and challenges.
• Develop personalized care plans incorporating various treatment techniques that address specific musculoskeletal issues.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to optimize patient mobility and function, fostering independence and improved quality of life.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs, focusing on rehabilitation and prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Understanding the diverse needs and backgrounds of our patient population will be essential to providing effective, personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program are preferred.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or a relevant field, preferably with a focus on treating musculoskeletal disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessments, treatment planning, and direct patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adept in handling diverse patient personalities and the ability to tailor communication styles to meet varying patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
