HR Coordinator
A growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support the HR Manager and keep daily HR operations running smoothly. This is a broad, hands-on role spanning recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, benefits, and compliance — ideal for a detail-driven HR professional who handles confidential information with complete discretion.
Responsibilities
- Support recruiting and hiring: post requisitions, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate pre-employment screenings
- Manage onboarding: new hire paperwork, Form I-9 compliance, orientations, and company-wide training tracking
- Handle timecards, audit payroll entries, and support benefits administration including annual open enrollment
- Maintain accurate, compliant employee records in the HRIS across the full employee lifecycle
- Compile HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire) and assist with audits, OSHA 300 logs, and SOP development
- Coordinate employee events and recognition programs
Requirements
- 2–4 years of HR coordinator or related administrative experience
- Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems; ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas); proficiency in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree, PHR, or SHRM-CP a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Bilingual a plus
Working Conditions
- Professional, air-conditioned office within a manufacturing facility; PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes) required in designated areas
- Office is in a multi-level building requiring frequent stair use throughout the day
- Occasional lifting up to 45 lbs and some local driving for administrative duties
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with added flexibility during peak periods (open enrollment, October–February)
