Role : Senior UI/UX Designer
Location: Remote (US-based)
Pay Rate : $55-$60/hr. on W2
Position Overview:
- We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with deep domain expertise in Commercial and Specialty Insurance to help us design intuitive, data-driven dashboards and enterprise interfaces. In this role, you will bridge complex insurance metrics-such as Insurance P&Ls, Combined Ratios, Loss Ratios, and Commission Overrides-into actionable, high-impact visuals for Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and Executive leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard & Product Design: Design daily management and executive dashboards for Insurance P&Ls, risk portfolios, and operational metrics using Figma .
- Complex Data Visualization: Translate intricate insurance terminology and financial calculations (Loss Ratios, Combined Ratios, Comm Overrides) into clean, user-friendly, and actionable interfaces.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and product teams to understand user workflows and requirements.
- End-to-End Design: Own the design lifecycle from wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity prototypes and design systems.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct user interviews and usability testing to ensure solutions meet the daily needs of insurance professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer building enterprise applications, data-heavy tools, or financial dashboards.
- Domain Expertise: Strong, hands-on understanding of Commercial and Specialty Insurance . (Exposure to Programs Insurance and Reinsurance is a significant plus).
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems).
- Communication: Ability to distill complex insurance and financial concepts into clear, intuitive design decisions.
