Training Coordinator - Specimen Processing

Position Training Coordinator – Oak Creek, WI Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:00 pm – 2:30 am; rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Assist with the onboarding of new employees and initial training. Ensure a positive new hire experience. Provide ongoing group and individualized training to enhance work performance and general education. Deliver training on company and department policies, procedures, department‑related competencies, and Lab Information Systems. Develop and implement resources and programs to achieve training objectives. Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans. Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees. Support leadership with quality and service metrics and assist in creating improvement plans for underperforming employees. Maintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conducted. Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times. Assist with workflow during high‑volume periods or coverage needs. Help supervise day‑to‑day departmental operations and lead the team in daily processes and procedures. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year or more of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher.

1. year or more of experience in training or leading a team.
2. years or more of experience in specimen processing in a hospital or clinical setting.

Additional Job Standards Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and time‑management skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Flexibility to travel throughout the territory for training purposes. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
