Clinician/Clinician Fellow Opportunity at UPMC Western Maryland

Are you looking to take the next step in your nursing career? UPMC Western Maryland is looking for a highly motivated Clinician/Clinician Fellow to join our 6 West Ortho/Trauma Unit!

This is a dayshift position that will include 2 weekend shifts per month. No holidays required.

Title and salary will be determined based upon education and nursing experience. Those with 2 years of experience and/or those without their BSN will be brought in at the Clinician Fellow title and pay range. Salary, as shown, is for Clinician.

Responsibilities:

Completes and/or assists with staff performance evaluations for direct reports as applicable.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience for a Clinician title.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience for a Clinician Fellow title.

Master's degree preferred.

BS/BSN required. If BS degree not in nursing, a Master's or higher degree in Nursing is required. If no BSN at time of hire, must be enrolled in a program within one year of hire/transfer date and completed within three years of enrollment.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in practicing state.

National Certification preferred.

CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Registered Nurse (RN)

Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
