Job Requirements

• Active Maryland medical license required for the listed coverage dates
• At least 1 year of experience in neonatology, NICU, or newborn care required
• Ability to provide 24-hour call coverage
• MD or DO degree required
• Comfort working in a Level II NICU and supporting high-risk deliveries

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal coverage in a Level II NICU
• Complete daily rounds and guide patient care based on unit acuity
• Assist with deliveries when a known high-risk pregnancy or delivery is expected
• Respond to newborn care needs during call coverage
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe, high-quality neonatal care
