WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Disease Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity beginning October 5, 2026 . This assignment supports both inpatient pulmonary consults and outpatient clinic services, offering a flexible schedule with no call responsibilities and the opportunity to provide coverage as monthly needs arise.

• Schedule: Monday Friday
  • Clinic: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
  • Hospital Consults: 1:00 PM 5:00 PM
• Call: None
• Setting: Outpatient Pulmonary Clinic and Inpatient Hospital Consult Service
• EMR: Epic
• Onsite Requirement: Yes
• Credentialing: Standard credentialing process

Provide comprehensive pulmonary care through a combination of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient consultative services. Physicians can expect an average of 3 6 inpatient consults per day , while clinic volume varies based on new and established patient scheduling. Return patient appointments are scheduled in 20-minute intervals, and new patient visits are allotted 40 minutes. Providers will practice independently during assigned shifts.

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease
• Active Maryland medical license or willingness to obtain one
• IMLC candidates welcome
• Maryland DEA and Maryland Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
• ACLS certification required
• No minimum experience required
