Position: MRI Technologist
Work Hours: PRN
Days of the Week: PRN
Shift: As needed
Job PurposeThe main objective of the MRI Technologist role is to conduct routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging. This position also involves performing venipuncture when necessary and providing assistance to Radiologists and Radiology nurses during sedation procedures.
Job RequirementsEducation- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program that complies with MQSA standards.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, along with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
