POSITION SUMMARY

FUNDINGO is hiring a VP of Operations & Delivery to lead the execution of our client implementations and managed-services portfolio.

\n

\n

This is a hands-on player-coach role for an experienced Professional Services or implementation leader. You will oversee project health, capacity planning, delivery processes, team performance, and client escalations while remaining close enough to the work to step into at-risk engagements when needed.

\n

\n

As FUNDINGO takes on larger and more complex customers, this leader will bring greater structure, accountability, and predictability to delivery—building processes that support growth without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Our implementations can be complex and highly configurable, requiring coordination across customers, project managers, implementation resources, product experts, engineering, QA, and third-party vendors.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

\n

\n
• Lead the portfolio of active implementations and managed-services engagements, maintaining visibility into milestones, risks, dependencies, commitments, and next steps.
\n
• Manage and coach project managers and implementation team members, setting clear expectations and holding owners accountable for delivery.
\n
• Own capacity planning and resource allocation across project managers, implementation resources, and shared specialists.
\n
• Establish and run delivery cadences, including portfolio reviews, project-health reviews, resource planning, and escalation management.
\n
• Identify delivery risks early and step into at-risk projects or client escalations when needed.
\n
• Standardize core delivery practices, including project planning, status reporting, action tracking, requirements handoffs, UAT, go-live, and post-launch transitions.
\n
• Partner with Solutions & Enablement to ensure each engagement receives the appropriate product expertise and solution guidance.
\n
• Collaborate with Sales on scoping, implementation feasibility, customer handoffs, and upcoming resource demand.
\n
• Work with Product, Engineering, and QA to address technical dependencies, release risks, and delivery blockers.
\n
• Strengthen scope and change-order management so timeline and commercial implications are addressed early.
\n
• Build the documentation, tools, processes, and performance metrics needed to make delivery more predictable and scalable.
\n
• Improve knowledge transfer so individual subject-matter experts do not become permanent bottlenecks.
\n

• At-risk engagements are addressed before they become major customer escalations.
\n
• Implementation timelines and milestone predictability improve.

• Managed-services work is consistently prioritized, staffed, and tracked.

• Cross-functional blockers are surfaced earlier and resolved more efficiently.

• Delivery becomes increasingly repeatable and scalable while retaining the flexibility customers require.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

\n

\n
• Experience leading a Professional Services, implementation, or client-delivery function within a complex SaaS or enterprise software environment.
\n
• Direct responsibility for a portfolio of concurrent customer implementations.
\n
• Experience managing project managers, implementation consultants, or similar client-delivery professionals.
\n
• Strong capability in capacity planning, resource allocation, portfolio management, and prioritization.
\n
• Working knowledge of requirements gathering, implementation planning, scope management, UAT, go-live, and post-launch support.
\n
• Experience managing difficult client situations and coaching teams through delivery challenges.
\n
• The ability to create accountability without becoming the person personally responsible for carrying every project.
\n
• A track record of building practical operating processes that teams consistently use.
\n
• Comfort working as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator in an evolving environment.
\n
• Enough technical fluency to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, QA, and technical implementation teams.
\n
• Clear communication, strong client presence, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
\n
• Experience in lending, fintech, financial software, Salesforce, or other highly configurable enterprise platforms is valuable but not required.
