Job Description

• Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' individual needs and create personalized therapy interventions aimed at achieving their specific functional objectives.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive holistic care.
• Patient and Caregiver Education: Empower patients and their families with effective strategies and techniques to progress in their therapeutic journeys at home.
• Ongoing Monitoring: Regularly evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track towards their goals.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement and support for continuing education and additional certification opportunities.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
