This role partners closely with the VP, Brand & Product Development to bring new brands and product lines to life — from concept ideation through CAD development, factory collaboration, prototyping, testing, and production execution.This is a highly hands-on leadership role requiring strong design instincts, deep product development knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail.Key Responsibilities1. Concept Development & VisualizationGenerate innovative product concepts aligned with brand strategy and retailer needsDevelop detailed sketches, renderings, and 3D CAD modelsCreate presentation materials for internal reviews and retail line presentationsEnsure design intent is clearly communicated through all stages of development2. Product Development & ExecutionOwn product development from concept through productionDevelop complete design documentation and specifications for quoting and manufacturingPartner directly with domestic and international factories to refine construction, materials, finishes, and cost targetsReview prototypes, tooling samples, and production samples to ensure design integrityEnsure compliance with safety, durability, and quality standards3. Innovation & Trend LeadershipStay current on trends in baby, home, lifestyle, and outdoor categoriesIdentify white space opportunities and design-forward solutionsBalance aesthetic excellence with manufacturability and margin requirements4. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Engineering, QA, Sourcing, Marketing, and SalesParticipate in milestone reviews and manage project timelinesSupport packaging and branding alignment to ensure cohesive consumer experienceQualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field8+ years of experience in consumer product design and developmentProven experience taking products from concept through mass productionExperience in consumer products, baby, home, or lifestyle categories preferredSkills & Capabilities:Strong 2D and 3D visualization skillsAdvanced CAD proficiencyDeep understanding of materials and manufacturing processesExperience working with both domestic and overseas factoriesExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughStrong presentation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentAdditional Requirements:Online portfolio required with resume submissionPersonal Attributes:Entrepreneurial and self-directedForward-thinking and trend-awarePassionate about pushing design beyond expectationsHighly collaborative yet comfortable working independentlyLocation & Travel:Full-time roleRemote or hybrid flexibilityLA-based preferred but not requiredOccasional domestic and international travel may be requiredSalary:$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 MGA Entertainment
