Job Overview Delivery Supervisor - North Houston The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for supervising delivery drivers and evaluating distribution activities. This position is relocation eligible. Shift and Schedule 1st shift Monday-Friday, occasional weekends 3:30am start until finish Position Responsibilities Supervise a team of 19 delivery drivers. Direct, coordinate, and evaluate all distribution activities for assigned drivers and routes. Ensure accurate deliveries and excellent customer service. Plan and schedule company transport vehicles to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize downtime and excessive overtime. Supervise driver performance and take proper disciplinary steps as necessary. Monitor the team to ensure vehicles are well maintained and related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner. Ensure optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained to fulfill daily sales needs. Requirements High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred. 1 year of management or supervisory experience. 3 years of delivery or distribution experience. CDL Class A preferred.
