The ideal candidate understands both the functional structure of D365 (Finance and/or Supply Chain) and modern Power BI data modeling best practices.This individual will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to design scalable, high-performance reporting solutions.Key Responsibilities* Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging D365 F&O data* Build optimized semantic data models aligned with financial dimensions and operational structures* Extract and transform D365 data using Data Entities, OData, BYOD, or Azure Data Lake* Develop complex DAX measures to support financial and operational KPIs* Reconcile Power BI outputs to D365 transactional data to ensure integrity and accuracy* Implement row-level security aligned with D365 security roles* Optimize report performance and refresh schedules* Support executive reporting, month-end close analytics, and operational dashboardsRequired Experience* Strong Power BI development background (5+ years preferred)* Direct experience working with D365 F&O data models (3+ years preferred)* Deep understanding of:* Financial dimensions and chart of accounts* Subledger-to-GL relationships* Inventory and supply chain transactions* Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling (star schema design)* Strong SQL skills* Experience supporting Finance and/or Operations stakeholders
