Financial Data Analyst

Job Description

One of our largest entertainment clients is looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join their team!

This person will serve as the primary owner of financial and operational data management across multiple markets and business units. This individual will be responsible for consolidating complex datasets, maintaining reporting tools and dashboards, supporting executive-level reporting, and identifying opportunities to automate and streamline business processes.

This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Finance, FP&A, Payroll, HR, Accounting, and executive leadership, including supporting ad hoc requests from Corporate Planning and the CFO. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, enjoys working with large datasets, and has a passion for transforming data into actionable business insights.

• Consolidate and manage financial and operational data from multiple markets and business units

• Maintain centralized trackers, databases, dashboards, and reporting tools

• Support executive reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business initiatives

• Validate, reconcile, and audit data to ensure accuracy and integrity

• Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests from leadership teams

• Develop standardized reporting templates and automated reporting solutions

• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and workflow optimization

• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, HR, Accounting, and business leaders

• Support acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic initiatives

• Handle highly confidential organizational and compensation data with professionalism and discretion

Pay Range - $38-$41

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulas

• Experience working with large datasets and consolidating data from multiple sources

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities

• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and executive-facing presentations

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proven ability to identify and automate manual reporting processes - Power BI or Tableau experience

• Finance, FP&A, Payroll, Compensation, or Accounting experience

• VBA, SQL, Python, or automation experience

• Experience with OneStream, Oracle, SAP, BPC, or similar financial systems

• Data governance, workflow optimization, or project management experience

• Experience supporting executive leadership and CFO-level reporting
