The ideal candidate will work closely with our sales and loan officers to prospect clients at networking events, evaluate real estate deals, and support the loan underwriting process. This role offers hands-on exposure to all aspects of real estate lending and is particularly well suited for someone interested in developing a sales-oriented career in commercial real estate finance.Key Responsibilities:Assist sales and loan officers in identifying potential clients at networking events, industry conferences, and other relevant gatherings.Gather and maintain a database of potential leads and contacts.Support the development and execution of client outreach strategies.Financial Analysis:Conduct financial analysis and run proforma models to evaluate potential real estate deals.Analyze financial statements, rent rolls, and other relevant documents to assess the viability of projects.Prepare preliminary loan sizing and cash flow projections.Loan Underwriting Support:Assist in the preparation of loan packages and presentations for credit committee review.Gather and organize due diligence materials, including property appraisals, environmental reports, and borrower financials.Support the underwriting team in conducting market research and analysis.Data Management and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all deals in the pipeline.Assist in preparing regular reports on market trends, deal flow, and other key performance indicators.Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Prior experience or internship in real estate finance, investment banking, or a related field is a plus.Willingness to travel for networking events and client meetings.What We Offer:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.Exposure to a wide range of real estate financing transactions.Salary range $50,000-65,000 + Performance based bonus.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and retirement plans.3 weeks of company PTO + 6 paid holidays.
