Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Open-book skills exam on Friday during orientation; all necessary resources are provided. Must receive 90% to pass.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details: Med/Tele swing unit caring for adults and geriatrics, with occasional pediatrics. Majority of the census is swing bed patients needing IV antibiotics, therapy, or wound care; medical patients also include diagnoses such as diabetes, pancreatitis, and pneumonia.

Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling with manager approval. Weekend requirement: At least every 3rd weekend, at times every other. Holiday requirement: Rotation per unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Can float to ED to be backup help if volumes surge.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
