Locums Neurology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Locums NeurologyPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatientneurology coverage in Prescott, AZ. This is a weekday clinic opportunity with avariety of neurology consultations and diagnostic responsibilities.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Lunch: 12:00 PM–1:00PM
Lunch Break: Paid
Setting: OutpatientNeurology Clinic
FTE: 1.0
EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

Performnew patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
Conductneurological consultations and assessments.
Evaluateand manage patients with a variety of neurological conditions.
PerformEMGs as qualified.
ReadEEGs as qualified.
PerformBotox injections for migraines if appropriately credentialed.
Developtreatment plans and coordinate patient care.
Maintainaccurate and timely documentation in Cerner.

Requirements

BoardCertified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
NP: AANP or ANCCcertification.
PA: NCCPAcertification.
Active Arizonamedical license .
Neurologyexperience preferred.
Mustbe comfortable providing outpatient neurology evaluations andconsultations.
Additionalprocedural/diagnostic experience such as Botox for migraines, EMGs, andEEG interpretation preferred.
