Job Overview – Senior Accountant (Temporary) Compensation: $40 – $55/hour Location: New York, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accountant (Temporary) in New York, NY for our client, supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, and integration activities within a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with a finance team to manage general ledger activity, support month-end close, and assist with onboarding new entities. The position offers hands-on exposure to acquisition integration and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities General Ledger: Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records. Month‑End Close: Support close processes including accruals, reporting, and variance analysis. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and support internal reporting requirements. System Utilization: Use NetSuite to manage accounting workflows and reporting activities. Entity Integration: Assist with onboarding financials for newly acquired entities and support integration efforts. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience required. Industry Knowledge: Experience in professional services or high‑growth environments preferred, with exposure to acquisitions or entity integration a plus. Technical Skills: Strong NetSuite experience required with advanced Excel skills.
